AllWorld University Leadership Board

The AllWorld University Leadership Board brings together students, faculty and fellows of different universities to collaborate on entrepreneurship.  Teams are working with AllWorld to expand into Asian, African and Latin countries, and another team is working to strengthen our research systems.  Interested students, faculty and fellows should write to unilead@allworldlive.com to reach Board Co-chairs Ahmad Jalal and Ozan Acar.  The AllWorld University Leadership Board is currently hosted at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government.

Ahmad Jalal is enrolled in the Masters in Public Administration / International Development at Harvard Kennedy School. Prior to joining Kennedy School, he served as an Executive Director with Goldman Sachs in their Investment Banking and Sales & Trading divisions where he originated investment deals in India and China for Goldman Sachs Infrastructure Fund. He started his career as a Chartered Accountant with Deloitte in London and worked in corporate finance where he led teams advising private equity investors on acquisition of European companies in oil & gas, hotel & leisure and retail sectors. Ahmad is a graduate of BSc. Economics from the London School of Economics.

On his own initiative, he successfully executed trade development initiatives between India/Pakistan as well as project development in wind power and waste management in South Asia. He is a member of the London-based think-tank, The International Institute for Strategic Studies.  

Ozan Acar is currently enrolled in Masters in Public Administration in International Development at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government.  Previously, he worked as an economist at the Economic Policy Research Foundation of Turkey (TEPAV), an Ankara-based think tank. He mainly led and took part in projects related with industrial and technology policies, international economics, and labor market. 

He also worked as a consultant to the World Bank in private sector development projects. Mr. Acar served as an advisor to the Minister of Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Chairman of the Turkish Union of Chambers (TOBB) in designing Turkey's industrial strategy.

 He holds BA and MA degrees in economics, which he obtained both from Bilkent University. Mr. Acar is a member of Turkish American Business Forum and Global Economic Symposium community.
